Should have passed the 10+2 examination conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education /Haryana Board of School Education with Mathematics, Physics as Compulsory subjects alonwith one of the subjects Viz Chemistry, Computer Science/Bio Technology/Biology, or equivalent examination from a recognized board with an overall aggregate of 50%marks.
Additionally, the candidate should have appeared and secured a valid Rank in JEE/MVN University Entrance Test or Other Entrance Test as specified in Admission Brochure in the year of admission.
The selection to all B.Tech programmes will be on merit, based on JEE rank. In absence of a credible entrance examination, MVN University Entrance Test as specified in Admission Brochure of the year of admission may be considered. The admission may be done through online display of merit cum admission lists / Physical counseling on merit as necessary and as specified by the Admission Brochure. For NRIs the admission will be based on the basis of the qualifying examination. Detailed selection and enrollment procedure will be published with the admission notice in Admission Brochure before commencement of admission every year.

Dr. Rajeev Ratan received his Ph. D. (Electronics & Communication Engineering) from Thapar University, Patiala, Punjab. He received M. Tech. Degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Haryana. He is a life time member of Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE), New Delhi, India and Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (IE) India. His research interests are Digital Signal Processing, FPGA Design, Embedded Systems, Image Processing and Biomedical Instrumentation. He has published more than thirty research articles in International Journals, National Journals & Conferences. He is the author of a book entitled “Digital Electronics” published by ACME Learning Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, India with ISBN: 978-93-804080-4-0. He is also reviewer of Taylor & Francis-International Journal of Electronics.

PCB can be said as heart of any electrical and electronics system eg. T.V, Laptops, Washing Machine etc. and with increasing involvement of electronics and electrical in Automobile and other mechanical equipments demand for PCB grows exponentially. Growth of any industry will leads to the growth of PCB manufacturing and so the demand.
Consumers are driving industry growth with a desire for good products. Great technology is no longer enough to differentiate a product. It must be squeezed into a smaller package in order to sell. This has an effect on everything inside the box including the PCB, the chips and what's packaged on the chips. As new electronic products are developed, such as smaller video cameras that can help patients avoid more invasive procedures, PCBs must evolve right along with them.
The entire system is being affected by the need to accommodate consumer demand, which is driving product innovation and PCB innovation and in turn growing the market. Many global PCB fabrication facilities are now able to accommodate the trickiest design techniques, enabling further innovation.
Keeping in view the above aspects, MVN University has started the certificate program in PCB Designing with the help of software like AVR studio, Target, and OrCAD, Oscad.
On the successful completion of the course the individual will be proficient in all basic skills related to single sided, double layered and multilayered PCB Designing and related software’s.
Image processing covers the fundamental technology behind applications such as digital television, medical imaging and tele-radiology, video streaming and conferencing overwireless and wireless networks, multimedia database and digital library. All applications use digital image enhancement, filtering, analysis and compression techniques. This certificate is for working professionals who seek an in-depth understanding of image processing and communication technology. The program consists of three required courses and one elective course.
This certificate course provides hands-on experience by performing image analysis. Examples and exercises demonstrate the use of appropriate MATLAB and Image Processing Toolbox functionality throughout the analysis process.

Embedded system architecture and programming. I/O, analog and digital interfacing, and peripherals. Weekly laboratory sessions and term project on design of a microprocessor-based embedded system including at least one custom peripheral. Knowledge of C programming and digital logic required. Lab required.
The goal of this class is to introduce you to issues in hardware/software interfacing, practical microprocessor-based system design issues such as bus protocols and device drivers, and practical digital hardware design using modern logic synthesis tools. You will put all of this to use in the lab where you will be given the opportunity to implement, using a combination of C and the SystemVerilog hardware description langauge, a small embedded system.
This is a lab course done in two parts. During the first part of the class, each student will implement the same "canned" designs designed by the instructor and be given substantial guidance. These are meant as an opportunity for you to learn the development tools and basic concepts. In the second part of the class, you will divide up into teams and each will design and implement a comparable project of their own with guidance from the instructor and TAs.
This course is a capstone in which students will integrate their knowledge of digital logic, programming, and system design to produce a real system. It is intended to complement ELEN 4340, Computer Hardware Design. 4840 focuses more on system-design issues and include a large section on hardware/software integration. Students in 4840 will use gates, processors, peripherals, software, and operating systems as building blocks.
Upon completion of the course, students should possess the following skills:
